Local State Certified Labs for Testing Drinking Water for Bacteria
(Note: You should call to make arrangements with the lab before sampling. Many labs will not accept samples on Fridays, or charge more money for Friday samples, and you may have to have the samples at the lab by a certain time. Some labs will only accept samples taken in their sterile bottles.) These are a few of the State Approved laboratories in our area for water testing. We are not recommending that you have to use any particular one of these labs, however you should use a State approved lab. Other State Approved labs may also be found in the phone book or online.
