Seminole County Health Department provides services to protect against vaccine preventable diseases across the lifespan, as recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. These services include:
Routine Childhood Immunizations
Beginning at age two months and continuing through adolescence and preparations for college, childhood vaccines are provided through the federal and state-funded Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program for children age two months through 18 years. For more information on the Vaccines for Children Program, eligibility requirements, and insurance information by visiting our Childhood Immunizations web page.
The State of Florida has adopted the ACIP vaccine recommendations for children and mandates immunization before enrollment in schools or child care facilities.
Childhood Immunization services are provided on a walk-in basis only. Children must be brought in by a parent or legal guardian. If this is your child's first visit for immunizations, please bring your child's social security card (or another government-issued i.d.) and complete immunization history.
Routine Adult Services
We offer vaccines for adults to meet general CDC recommendations, adult education or employment requirements, or the special needs of aging immune systems. We also offer laboratory tests to determine immunity to meet vaccine requirements. Fees for services. For information on our adult services, visit our Adult Immunizations web page.
Travel Medicine Services
