The Seminole County Health Department offers reproductive health services including physical exams, screenings for HIV, sexually transmitted diseases, and breast and cervical cancer, education counseling, and birth control methods. These services are available at the health department’s main clinic. Funding is available for tubal ligations and vasectomies for eligible residents of Seminole County who are 21 and over and desiring permanent sterilization.
Over 3,200 county residents were provided Family Planning services annually.
Services are provided in a confidential manner.
Our dedicated staff is sensitive to multilingual and multicultural needs.
Available family planning methods include, but are not limited to:
- Condoms
- Depo-Provera Injection
- Birth Control Pills
- IUD
- Emergency contraceptive
- Tubal ligations
- Sterlization
- Vasectomies

Condoms are available FREE of charge.
- Pregnancy testing is available free of charge for ages under 19 years.
Methods of Payment:
- Fees are charged on a sliding fee scale based on income and determined through an eligibility process.
