The Child Health Program at Seminole County Health Department offers a variety of services to the children that live in our county.  We are here to promote and protect the health and safety of our children through the delivery of quality public health services.  Seminole County Health Department has a comprehensive pediatric program using state of the art equipment.  Newborns that have an appointment with us two days after they come home from the hospital are examined for jaundice with our new non-invasive bilirubin meter.  We also assess the mom's ability to breastfeed and offer valuable education and counseling in conjunction with our WIC program.
